Once again this May the Newark branch of CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, are filling their tented arena with around 150 traditionally crafted beers, together with a selection of real cider and perry for visitors to sample. We also have a varied selection of locally made country wines if beer or cider is not to your taste.
The No.1 event in Newark's social calendar!
Since the first festival in 1996, it has become a major attraction drawing both the enthusiast and the inquisitive to the banks of the River Trent to enjoy great music, good food and, of course, an amazing selection of cask conditioned beers and ciders. Mark the last weekend in May on your calendar now!
Please remember!
This, as all other CAMRA-run festivals, is set up and staffed totally by unpaid volunteers. They have given up many hours to try and bring you the best event possible. Please be nice to them! If you are a Newark branch member and fancy helping out for a couple or more hours, please contact us. It's great fun, and you will get free beer tokens for your time.
