Newark CAMRA are very pleased to announce, after a very close run competition, that the 2016 Branch Pub of The Year is Just Beer, of Swan & Salmon Yard, Castle Gate, Newark.
The Branch pub of the year is selected from a shortlist of pubs nominated by members. The shortlist is visited by a panel of judges who score the pub on a number of different criteria. Any member can nominate a pub for inclusion in the shortlist, and any member can volunteer to join the panel of judges, so if you would like to be more involved in the selection of next year’s Pub of The Year, just let a member of the Branch Committee know.
