It has become apparent that some of you are having difficulty in downloading the Beer Festival Staffing form as linked to in the last emailshot. We suspect this is because it is being blocked as a .doc (Microsoft Word) document. We have changed the format to pdf. This should now allow all browsers to download the form. Newark CAMRA Pub of the Year has been awarded to the Final Whistle, Southwell. The presentation will be on 21st Feb at 4pm. Non members are welcome.
Transport has been arranged for the next branch meeting which is Thursday Feb 5th at the Old Coach House, Southwell. The bus will be leaving from outside the Gilstrap Centre on Castle Gate at 7.30pm and the cost is £5 a head. This year’s Newark Festival – 20th to 22nd June at Riverside Park will, for the first time, feature a REAL ALE & CIDER BAR. Beers served will include the following: Milestone Brewery – Lions’ Pride, Shine On and Loxley Newark Brewery – BLH4, Summer Gold and Newark Best Ciders from Millwhites of Somerset.
