Newark Beer Festival staffing form – update.

It has become apparent that some of you are having difficulty in downloading the Beer Festival Staffing form as linked to in the last emailshot. We suspect this is because it is being blocked as a .doc (Microsoft Word) document. We have changed the format to pdf. This should now allow all browsers to download the form. Pub of the Year 2015 Statement

It is clear that there has been some misunderstanding and misinformation regarding Pub of the Year  2015. It is hoped this statement eases concerns and allows us to move on. Buxton Coach Trip

Transport to next branch meeting.

Transport has been arranged for the next branch meeting which is Thursday Feb 5th at the Old Coach House, Southwell. The bus will be leaving from outside the Gilstrap Centre on Castle Gate at 7.30pm and the cost is £5 a head. FESTIVE CAMRAMBLE 2014.

We will be having a Christmas walk and pub crawl on Saturday 27th December, deatails as follows. Marshalls Bus (91)departs Castlegate at 9:45 am then the bus station. The walk commences approx 10:20 from Lodge Lane, Screveton. 1st stop Boot n Shoe, Flintham (opening at 11am for us). 2nd stop Chequers, Elston who are opening at 1pm for us. Real Ale appearance at Newark Festival.

This year’s Newark Festival – 20th to 22nd June at Riverside Park will, for the first time, feature a REAL ALE & CIDER BAR. Beers served will include the following: Milestone Brewery – Lions’ Pride, Shine On and Loxley Newark Brewery – BLH4, Summer Gold and Newark Best Ciders from Millwhites of Somerset.
