We will be having a Christmas walk and pub crawl on Saturday 27th December, deatails as follows.
Marshalls Bus (91)departs Castlegate at 9:45 am then the bus station.
The walk commences approx 10:20 from Lodge Lane, Screveton.
1st stop Boot n Shoe, Flintham (opening at 11am for us).
2nd stop Chequers, Elston who are opening at 1pm for us. There will be fresh rolls on the bar to purchase (approx £2.00 each) and Abbie is providing complimentary chips with each purchase.
3rd stop – Riverside, Farndon. We can make use of the heated, under-cover area outside (this specifically applies to dog owners).
I will walk back into Newark along the river and we can visit any pubs en route that take our fancy. I’m enquiring at Knot ‘s bar at the Marina.
