Much has been made of the workers’ strike at the giant AB InBev brewery plants at Leuven, Jupille and Hoegaarden in Belgium this last week. Supplies of Stella were expected to run out on Belgian supermarket shelves over the weekend.
God forbid! Drinkers may be so desperate that they now have to choose something from one of the 120-or-so independent breweries making excellent brews in this great beer-making country. They must be laughing down their mash tuns.
