After exhaustive scoring by a panel of 14 judges, The Final Whistle, Station Road, Southwell has been awarded Newark and District Pub of the Year 2015. The competition was again very close this year but The Final Whistle was highly commended for its consistent beer quality, warm welcome and great atmosphere. Landlord Oliver Brown said ” When we first heard we were speechless. We were so chuffed that we nearly cried! This will really mean a lot to the community of Southwell not just us. Thank you to you all at CAMRA, can’t wait for presentation night!”
