The 2014 Newark Beer Festival is almost here – requiring help from Wed 21st to Sun 25th May – and I am hoping to enlist the service of volunteers (new and old) to work the annual event. This year’s Derby CAMRA Winter Beer Festival will run from Wednesday 20th – Saturday 23rd February, once again at the magnificent Roundhouse, Derby College, Pride Park, DE24 8JE. Over 300 beers available, plus ciders and perries. Full details can be seen on the Derby CAMRA web site here.

The 2nd ‘BeerMuda Triangle’ beer festival takes place 24th – 27th Jan, 2013. The 1st event last year, a collaboration between three town pubs – the Castle, Just Beer and Prince Rupert – was designed to replace the now defunct Newark CAMRA Winter beer festival held at the Town Hall. The complete list for the upcoming Beer Muda Triangle Beer Festival (26th – 29th January) is now available. The BeerMuda Triangle Beer Festival is being run between Just Beer, the Castle and Prince Rupert (three pubs = triangle!, geddit?).
