Meeting point is The Hearty Goodfellow, Southwell at 11am where we can have liquid refreshment before commencing the first leg across fields to the Wagon and Horses at Halam. Following a visit and a pint the 2nd leg is to The Old Reindeer at Edingley. Heart of Gold is a special ale brewed to help raise funds for our nominated charity Beaumond House which is our community hospice. This beer has been brewed by a local Brewery, Maypole, using a recipe from a Newark CAMRA member Ron Allison. It will be on sale at Newark CAMRA’s 16th Beer Festival (27th-29th May) and Newark’s LocAle and Wienfest (17th-19th June)

We raised just over £100 for our charity of the year, Macmillan Nurses. Don’t forget we will be hoping to raise more money on the 25th September, when we will be holding a coffee morning/day at the Fox & Crown, Newark.
