I nipped out for a couple around Balderton on Christmas Day lunchtime. Firstly to The Grove where everyone was shoehorned into the bar; it looked like the lounge was set aside for the occasional diner. The usual National Blands were on offer, Spitfire and London Pride, OK nick but with collars that would have put Harry Hill to shame. Perhaps that’s how they can sell it for about £1.75/pint.
