Just Beer Micropub has retained Newark branch pub of the year.
Ten assessors assessed the six nominated pubs, each assessor visiting each pub twice over a period of three months, each time judging on six different criteria.
The 6 criteria are:
• Quality of beer
• Atmosphere, style and décor
• Service and welcome
• Community focus
• Sympathy with CAMRA aims
• Good value
The results are then collated and the winner is revealed.
Congratulations to Just Beer on winning the accolade for the second successive year and a very big thank you to all of the assessors who volunteered their time to carry out the process.
The presentation will take place during the afternoon of Sunday 24th February and all are welcome.
Any CAMRA member can nominate any of our pubs and we are always trying to enrol new judges.
