Say no to cold beer!
I picked up a beer mat in Nottingham on Saturday that instructs ‘Say no to warm beer’. The beer mat in question is for Carling ‘Extra Cold’. What the hell are the ‘brewers’ thinking of? The tiny bit of flavour Carling might have had, even after filtration and pasteurisation, will certainly not be detectable after it’s served at just above freezing. Or perhaps that is the point?
