New beer initiative planned for Newark.

An idea was suggested by a local publican recently that a ‘Newark Beer Collective’ be set up with a view to putting Newark well and truly on the UK’s Real Ale map, tentatively named ‘RACOON’ – The Real Ale COllective Of Newark. Pub campaigning track released.

A single, ‘Pubs Hold the Answer’, available on digital download from iTunes, aims to help the pub industry. It is by industry insider David Fitzgerald of stocktacking company Venners, AKA Will Francis (stage name), in support of the great British pub. Not too cheesey, quite catchy even… but will it do any good? Well, it’s certainly worth a try I suppose.
