Bradford Beer Fest and Brewery visit.

The annual pilgrimage to Bradford has been organised for Saturday, 25th Feb, details as follows: Coach from The Wharf at approx 0900 and will pick up and drop off on way to and from the venues. Festive Camramble

The traditional Christmas holiday ramble has again been organised and will take place on Friday, December 30th. Bus from Castlegate at 10.35 (Premier Travel No. 54) Ramble route approximately 8 miles with 3 pub stops: Boot & Shoe – Flintham (Manager opening at 11.30 to accommodate us. Camramble – Saturday, Sept. 3rd:

Meeting point is The Hearty Goodfellow, Southwell at 11am where we can have liquid refreshment before commencing the first leg across fields to the Wagon and Horses at Halam. Following a visit and a pint the 2nd leg is to The Old Reindeer at Edingley. The final stretch is alongside a brook followed by the home straight along the Southwell Trail straight into the recently refurbished Final Whistle. Macmillan fundraising afternoon at the Crown at Bathley (Pub of The Year)

We raised just over £100 for our charity of the year, Macmillan Nurses. Don’t forget we will be hoping to raise more money on the 25th September, when we will be holding a coffee morning/day at the Fox & Crown, Newark.
