We will be having a Christmas walk and pub crawl on Saturday 27th December, deatails as follows. Marshalls Bus (91)departs Castlegate at 9:45 am then the bus station. A message from Tracey, our Social Secretary: I have designed a pleasant route around historic Lincoln that includes some sites of interest, some very hospitable pubs and there will be some breath-taking day-time and night-time views. Summer CAMRAmble

There will be another CAMRAmble on Saturday, August 18th, this time to Malham in the Yorkshire Dales. Departure is by coach from the Wharf at 8am, returning to Newark for about 10pm. The ramble is approximately a 9 mile circular walk and includes generous beer breaks! The traditional Christmas holiday ramble has again been organised and will take place on Friday, December 30th. Bus from Castlegate at 10.35 (Premier Travel No. 54) Ramble route approximately 8 miles with 3 pub stops: Boot & Shoe – Flintham (Manager opening at 11.30 to accommodate us. Camramble – Saturday, Sept. 3rd:

Meeting point is The Hearty Goodfellow, Southwell at 11am where we can have liquid refreshment before commencing the first leg across fields to the Wagon and Horses at Halam. Following a visit and a pint the 2nd leg is to The Old Reindeer at Edingley. The final stretch is alongside a brook followed by the home straight along the Southwell Trail straight into the recently refurbished Final Whistle.
